Amedi technecal institute established in 2012 is the one of Dohuk polytechnic university sections,Dean of Amedi technical institute Hakar zaki mohammed Phd- business management.

consis of five departmnet:

1-information technology:

The Department was established under the name of Computer Systems , In 2012 the name was changed to Information Technology.The most important point in the Information Technology Department is to improving the practical skills in each subject in the lab and also improving system requirements.

2-tourism management:

The Department was established on 2014-2015 to Providing students with correct and professional information that are needed in the field of Tourism to make the students have an active role in the field of tourism industrial in an academic form.

3-marketing managmnet:

Marketing Management Department is opened in Amedi Technical Institute in 2011 The mission of this department is to provide the proficient students in this field to suit the modern profession requirements for the various employees of marketing with the different sections.

4-Medical Laboratory Technology:

Medical laboratory techniques the mission is supported by opening new windows of scientific research and application to update new methods for disease analysis and educate the students of this department to work on new laboratory instrument for analysis of disease.

5-Animal Resources Department:

The department established in 2013 to provide better chance to improve and sustain animal production in Kurdistan Region generally and in Amedi countryside specifically. Animal resources department was built in Amedi as a strategic place for animal production because it hasa fertile land, mountainous land, and large amount of water.
